Simple egg tracking and flock management

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 23, 2026

Privacy at a glance: HenHub does not require an account, does not sell personal information, and stores the flock and egg information you enter locally on your device. HenHub 1.1 may display one Google AdMob banner and includes optional Amazon affiliate links as described below.

This Privacy Policy explains how HenHub handles information when you use the HenHub mobile application.

1. Information HenHub Collects

HenHub does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, contacts, or precise location.

HenHub itself does not operate an analytics service or collect behavioral usage profiles. Third-party advertising services may process limited device, network, advertising, interaction, and diagnostic information as described in the Advertising section below.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

HenHub stores information that you choose to enter locally on your device. This may include:

This information is used to provide HenHub’s egg tracking, production summaries, history, and flock management features.

HenHub does not upload this flock or egg information to a HenHub account or HenHub-operated server.

3. Camera and Photo Library Access

HenHub may request access to your camera or photo library when you choose to add or change a chicken’s photo.

These permissions are optional. You can use HenHub without adding chicken photos.

HenHub uses selected photos only to display them within your flock records. HenHub does not sell, publish, or intentionally transmit your chicken photos to advertisers.

4. Data Sharing and Sale

HenHub does not sell, rent, or trade your flock records or other locally stored HenHub data.

HenHub does not send egg collection history, chicken profiles, notes, photos, or Recommended Gear activity to Google AdMob or Amazon for ad targeting.

5. Advertising

HenHub uses Google AdMob to display one third-party banner advertisement at the bottom of the Dashboard after HenHub’s core egg-tracking content. HenHub does not use interstitial, rewarded, app-open, or fullscreen ads in this version.

HenHub requests non-personalized ads and does not intentionally request access to Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or display an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data processing needed to deliver, limit, measure, secure, and diagnose ads.

Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP-address-derived general location, device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, product interaction, crash information, and performance diagnostics. Google may use this information for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud and abuse prevention, security, and SDK performance or diagnostics.

HenHub does not pass your egg counts, flock size, chicken information, history, notes, photos, or other HenHub records to AdMob as targeting signals.

HenHub uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent or privacy choices when required by applicable regional laws and Google policy. Where available or required, a Privacy Choices option appears in HenHub Settings so you can reopen those choices.

If consent is declined or an ad cannot be requested or loaded, HenHub’s core features remain fully usable and the banner may simply not appear.

Google and its service providers process information under their own policies. You can review Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Affiliate Links and Amazon Associates

HenHub includes an optional Recommended Gear section containing links to products sold by third-party retailers, including Amazon.

Some of these links are affiliate links. HenHub participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites and applications to earn fees by linking to Amazon products.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

When you choose to open an affiliate link, you leave HenHub and the product page opens in the Amazon Shopping app or your device’s web browser. Amazon and other destination services may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and cookie practices.

HenHub does not send your egg records, flock information, chicken photos, notes, or other locally stored HenHub data to Amazon when you open an affiliate link.

HenHub does not use an affiliate tracking SDK, store a history of the affiliate links you open, or receive personally identifiable information about individual purchases through the app. Affiliate URLs may contain an identifier that allows the affiliate program to attribute qualifying purchases or commissions to HenHub.

7. Analytics and Tracking

HenHub does not use a separate third-party analytics SDK and does not create its own advertising-interaction analytics. Google AdMob may process advertising and diagnostic information as described above.

HenHub does not intentionally access IDFA or use your flock information to track or profile you across apps or websites.

8. Apple and App Distribution Services

If you download or test HenHub through Apple services such as the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

HenHub does not control information independently collected by Apple as part of operating the App Store, TestFlight, device security, or app distribution.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

HenHub retains your app data locally on your device until you edit or remove that information, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the application.

Uninstalling HenHub may permanently remove locally stored flock records, egg history, settings, and app-managed photos. HenHub currently does not provide cloud backup or account-based recovery.

Information processed independently by Google, Amazon, Apple, or other external services is subject to those providers’ retention and deletion practices.

10. Data Security

HenHub is designed to minimize privacy risk by keeping your flock and egg information on your device rather than sending it to a HenHub server.

However, no device, network, advertising service, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, device passcode, backups, and Apple Account.

11. Children’s Privacy

HenHub is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children or submitted to Apple’s Kids Category.

HenHub does not require accounts or knowingly collect identifying information from children through HenHub-operated servers. Advertising and external services remain subject to their own legal and policy obligations.

12. International Users

HenHub stores flock and egg information locally on the user’s device. Google UMP may present region-appropriate consent or privacy choices for advertising where required.

Information processed by Google, Apple, Amazon, or other platform providers may be handled internationally under their own terms, privacy policies, and legal obligations.

13. Future Features

Future versions of HenHub may introduce optional features such as backups, data export, synchronization, additional analytics, or changes to advertising.

If a future feature changes how HenHub collects, stores, uses, or shares information, this Privacy Policy and applicable App Store disclosures will be reviewed and updated.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to HenHub, legal requirements, advertising services, or privacy practices.

When the policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.

15. Contact

Questions, concerns, or requests related to this Privacy Policy may be sent to HenHub Support.
